Ludwig Wenzel Lachnith was a Bohemian horn player and composer who lived from July 7 , 1746 to October 3, 1820. He was heavily influenced by Joseph Haydn and Ignaz Pleyel. Lachnith was a versatile composer who produced everything from symphonies to operas. Some of his compositions included adaptations of the works of others, such as Les Mystères d'Isis, an adaptation for the Opra de Paris. Lachnith was also a student of Franois-Andr Danican Philidor, a famous music teacher. Philidor called him 'Philidor le subtil' in Le. Lachnith composed Sinfonia B-Dur. He died at the age of 74, leaving behind a significant contribution to classical music.
