Ivana Loudova (1941-2017) was a well-known Czech composer who made significant contributions to the world of contemporary music. She was born in Prague and began studying music at a young age, eventually attending the Prague Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.

Loudova was known for her unique approach to composition, often blending traditional Czech folk music with modern techniques and influences. Her music was characterized by its complex rhythms and intricate melodies, which often reflected her interest in the natural world.

Throughout her career, Loudova produced a wide range of works, including chamber music, orchestral pieces, and operas. Some of her most notable compositions include "Dvoustupňový koncert" (Double Concerto) for violin, cello, and orchestra, "Missa Quarti Toni" for choir and orchestra, and "La Fontaine" for cello and piano.
