Christian Erbach (c. 1568 – 14 June 1635) was a German composer and organist. He was born in Schelklingen in the region of Swabia, Southern Germany. Not much is known about his early years, but by the time he was in his early thirties, he had already become an accomplished musician and a respected organist.

Erbach was known as a prolific composer, especially of keyboard music. He wrote a large number of works for the organ, harpsichord, and clavichord, as well as a few canzonas for instrumental ensembles. His compositions are noteworthy for their use of polychoral techniques and Venetian flavors. In addition to instrumental music, Erbach also wrote pieces for voice , including motets.

Erbach was one of many German composers who were influenced by Italian music during the Renaissance era. His music is characterized by its use of polychoral techniques and lively rhythms, which were typical of Italian music. He was also known for his use of chromaticism and dissonance in his compositions.

Erbach's music was well-regarded during his lifetime, but he is not as well-known today compared to other German composers of the same period. Nonetheless, his compositions still provide a valuable insight into the musical styles of the early seventeenth century.
