Sergei Vladimirovich Yuferov was a Ukrainian composer born in 1865 and died in 1927. He was a student of Tchaikovsky and later taught composition at the Moscow Conservatory. Yuferov's musical style was highly individual and often used unconventional harmonies, as seen in his piece "6 Arabesques, Op. 1." He also composed numerous minor works such as "Entre petits et grands amis : 6 Album" and "Die Lotosblume." Although not widely known, Yuferov's compositions have been published and recorded by various classical music performers and ensembles.
